The Bladeform Legacy Update

Just a few weeks after the 7.02 update caused massive changes in the hero level talents along with some minor item changes, Valve already established the brand new 7.03 gameplay update that already awaits inside the steam client.

The centerpiece of this update is, of course, the long awaited Juggernaut Arcana which participated and won the community vote in the biggest e-sport event in history, The International 2016, where he triumphed over Io with 52% – 48%
with the community having a preposterous 63 Million votes total in the final battle between the two.

The newest Arcana consists of: Brand new animations for teleport, victory, loadout and alternate run, new effects for critical strikes, Bladefury and Omnislash, a new visual Dragon Spirit ancestor who assists Juggernaut, altered voice, custom hero portrait and a custom dragon spirit emoticon.

Following the Arcana, the update also features a new Jakiro model which was desired by the community after Valve previously modernized the models of Slardar, Void and Zeus.

Also essential in this update is the new responsive Captains Mode UI in addition with adding in the latest released hero, Monkey King, in the same mode. Additionally the following important gameplay changes have been implemented:

Experience needed from level 1 to level 6 has been increased by 15%
Experience needed to go from level 9 to 13 has been decreased
passive gold income has been reduced by 10%
Lesser hero buffs and nerfs with some small item changes.

Overall with this update, Icefrog noticeably wanted to slow down the early meta game and the fast tower stomp, which hopefully will make the game flow better.
