Splyce Make Their Way Back Into The ESL Pro League

The last couple of years have not been too good for Splyce when it comes to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Two years ago, during the ESL Pro League Season 4 when they had a very bad season, the team ended up being relegated from the league. During the next season, they were not able to perform at the level that might bring them back to the ESL Pro League. However, with the start of 2017 things changed in a positive direction for Splyce. The ESEA Premier 24 has just finished. The winner of that event, Splyce will once again have the opportunity to play in the ESL Pro League. This will mark the fulfillment of the dream that team’s officials, as well as the players, had immediately after they were relegated in the ESL Pro League Season 4.

However, the road for Splyce to the ESL Pro League Season 6 through ESEA Premier was not an easy one at all. First of all, Splyce had to go through the qualifications for this tournament. He was fighting through the playoffs with eight other teams. Splyce managed to secure their spot at the ESEA Premier 24. At the main event of the ESEA Premier 24, Splyce had to go through the single-elimination bracket in order to reach the finals. That would provide them with the opportunity to win the spot in the ESL Pro League Season 6. On their way to the final, Splyce played against Premier Rejects. They also played against FRENCH CANADIANS before making their way into the finals. In the finals, their biggest opponent was waiting for them, and that team was Enigma 6.

Splyce Make Their Way Through ESEA Premier 24

With the ESEA Premier 24 coming to an end, it can be said that the biggest winners of this tournament were Splyce. However, Enigma 6 and several others might not be that disappointed with this tournament after all. Enigma 6 as well as Bee’s Money Crew, as the runner-ups and the third-placed team. They will also have an opportunity to secure their spot in the ESL Pro League Season 6. They managed to secure their spots in the relegations for the ESL Pro League Season 5.

These three teams did not only win the opportunity or even direct spot in the ESL Pro League Season 6. However hey have also secured their places. We will see them participating at the ESEA Global Challenger. Besides these three teams, the ESEA Global Challenger will also feature other teams. These teams will come from the ESEA Premier leagues. It will be played in all regions in the world.

As we have said before, the road to secure the spot at the ESL Pro League Season 6 was not an easy one for Splyce. However their determination and persistence enabled them to clinch the win. That came in the decisive moment in the match against Enigma 6. Considering that Enigma 6 has been under the spotlight recently because of the transfer rumours and possibly some players leaving, this was also very good tournament for them as well. They too will have an opportunity to win back the place at the ESL Pro League Season 6 and who knows – perhaps we will witness more matches between Splyce and Enigma 6 in the near future.
