Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer has been a mainstay in the world of CS:GO ever since he first came on the scene. The Dane is the leader for the Heroic team and he is looking to help his team bounce back from some poor performances in 2016 and make this a great year for the organisation.
He was speaking in advance of the IEM Season XI World Championship Katowice and he discussed topics such as the popularity of e-sports in Denmark and the changes that his team have been making in their roster.
He talked about the problems that had plagued the team throughout last year and how they had managed to somewhat rectify them over the off season as they got some quality practice time and were able to spin their own distinct playstyle together. They also shuffled the player responsibilities around such as the in-game leaders, changing their coach and doing everything they pretty much could to line themselves up to win.
They replaced two players on their roster, bringing in JUGi and niko for the 2017 seasons, letting go of both Friis and gla1ve.
He was sad to see gl1v go as they always worked well alongside one another but these decisions had to be made for the betterment of the team.
He talks about the growing popularity of e-sports in Demark, his home country. The media over there have eventually woken up to the possibility that the industry has and now some prominent groups and organisations in the country are getting involved in the scene.
