OpTic Call of Duty Teamwork Improving?
|
Last season the most dominant team in the game of Call of Duty was clearly OpTic Gaming for most of the season they swept all before them before surprisingly getting knocked out of Call of Duty Champs by Cloud9 in an upset.
This year has not been as smooth sailing. While they have won a few events, they have seemed to be struggling with the chemistry of their team. Some were even suggesting that there may be a trade on the horizon.
However reports are coming to light that they may in fact be back on track. It seem like they will be ready to take the fight during the upcoming CWL Global Pro League. This fight will be taken to a new level.
They are one of the most popular teams in the game amongst the fans. The team was left disappointed recently when they only managed a 4th place finish at the recent Stage One showing the CWL. They then only went on to finish in 7th/8th position at MLG Anaheim. The competition took place a couple of weeks after this had happened.
2nd Stage
The team have been trying to lay their fingers on what exactly it is that has been holding them back. They have been showcasing some of their thoughts and ideas in tweets and videos. A couple of the areas that they thought about in particular were their teamwork as a whole. They also thought about their performances and strategies when it came to playing Hardpoint.
As they prepare for the $700,000 2nd Stage of the CWL Global Pro League, they will be hoping that this is enough to get them back to their dominant best.
It was is the early hours of this morning that one of the OpTic Gaming’s Call of Duty team members and one of the most successful players of all time in the franchise Ian “Crimsix” Porter tweeted that their teamwork seems to have now reached a whole new level that hasn’t been seem before. This seems to stem from a scrim they had against a eUnited team that has been reshaped including the addition of Clayster.
The next opportunity they will have to showcase this new level of teamwork for the world to see on the big stage will be in July in Columbus, Ohio.
New eUnited Team Member
In other news, the new eUnited team member Clayster has once again seemingly been trolled by the Infinite Warfare game as a number of abnormalities occurred during his scrim against Cloud9.
He has called out for the viewers of his scream to take clips of these moments for him. It was during a recent scrim against OpTic Gaming that the Uplink ball was made unreachable by OpTic Formal. In fact it was the catalyst for the former FaZe player going off on a rant.
When they were playing Cloud9 in scrims something crazy happened. Clayster had a bombardment killstreak which he let loose on the opposition. He successfully managed to kill three of the opposition players. With one of them already dead they were four down.
This meant that they had a clear path to the Uplink goal. However Clayster’s teammate went to touch the ball before a seemingly glitch made the ball disappear and spawn behind Clayster.
