Many Dota 2 Organizations Waiting To Be Paid From Northern Arena

This is turning into quite the scandal in the world of Dota 2 as many players from different teams, organizers and casters are claiming that they have not as of yet received their payments from Northern Arena.

This is of course a massive issue that needs to be resolved as soon as possible before it gets out of hand and it becomes more of an issue in the wider industry of e-sports.

The Northern Arena Beat Invitational was played back in November and this prize money is as of yet to be paid.

There were people from Team NP, Alliance and complexity who all confirmed that this was the case.

The CEO of the Northern Arena organization spoke out on the issue and confirmed that certain parties had yet to be paid, but did give confirmation that they will be paid in due course. There are no details as to which teams are yet to get paid, as many of them already received their prize money.

Team NP for example finished as runners-up in the event and as a result they are owed $20,000. There was a total prize pool of $100,000 for the entire event, so it is unclear as to what the total amount of money owed is between the teams, casters and organizers.

As Northern Arena is still only a startup, they will experience cash flow issues for time to time but they have spoken about getting a large investors on board in the near future and this will help them be able to pay off what they owe.

Despite this, there are talks of certain groups pressing legal action.
