The current world champion of Hearthstone has already extended his earnings even more following yet another victory.
It was back in November that he came through the World Championship victorious and ever since then Pavel “Pavel” Beltukov cannot be stopped.
While he is only 18 years old, he has now become the player who has tasted the most success ever when it comes to Hearthstone. He has managed to rack up earnings of more than $280,000 to date.
His first championship came nearly a year ago in the Hearthstone Champions League. However it is only in recent months that he has become very prolific, starting back at the Blizzcon event. The Worlds victory was only a stepping stone as he went on to claim a gold medal at the GameGune event and also being victorious at the Europe Winter Championship.
It was last Tuesday that he won the 5th title of his career at the Kinguin for Charity Invitational. While this was only a small tournament on the circuit, with 1st place only having a cheque for $5,000 it was still a field that was jam packed with some of the leading player in the game.
Despite tough matchups in the group stages, he still managed to go undefeated against powerful G2 opponents.
His 3-2 victory in the final against Radu “Rdu” Dima saw him capture his 2nd championship title of the week. This was after winning in the Winter Playoff league in Europe. He is the number one player in the world and he has an unbelievable win rate of 71%.
