Huge Number of Fans Tuned In To Watch eUnited Overcome OpTic Gaming

It was yesterday that the Call of Duty behemoths OpTic Gaming were defeated in the CWL Atlanta grand finals by eUnited in the fifth game.
It was a tense affair right throughout the entire series, but some standout kills in crucial times allowed the eUnited team to swing the result in their favour, to much delight. This is why the fans watch the sport, for moments like what was seen yesterday.
It was a proud day for the organization as they claimed their first ever piece of silverware as a team.
The team was made up of Pierce “Gunless” Hillman, “SiLLY” Fargo-Palmer, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson and Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson.
As well as having a huge level of coverage and support online, there was a large crowd attending the event in person at the Georgia World Congress Center.
At its peak the MLG.tv stream of the OpTic – eUnited matchup reached over 150,000 spectators. This is a level of support that has bene unheard of in recent times when it comes to Call of Duty and even the OpTic Gaming team were blown away at the amount of support that was coming through for them.
The eUnited team were not afraid of coming up against the stellar OpTic Gaming team that is made up of Seth “Scump” Abner, Matthew “FormaL” Piper, Ian “Crimsix” Porter and Damon “Karma” Barlow.
The viewing number seen for this event is a huge milestone and it looks like there is an exciting level of growth in store for us as the Infinite Warfare term as the current Call of Duty is only getting started.
