The latest coach for the NP Dota2 team has been announced as Pittner “bOne7” Armand. It seems that he has an alternative motive for making his return to the sports, as he looks to be planning on getting back playing professionally himself and using this as a chance to get his name back out there in the scene once more.
Who can say that this is not a smart move as he tries to attract attention for possible teams who may look to pick him up at some stage in the future?
It was on the 24th of January that he was picked up as the coach. This meant that he would be giving advice and directions to some of his former teammates on Cloud9, Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling and Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao.
There was a lot of debate about which team he was going to end up coaching with, as there were a number of teams interested. Ultimately the decision was down to him and he went with the organisation that he had the most confidence in.
You might remember that bOne7 was part of the Cloud9 roster way back in 2015, but he was dropped alongside the rest of the roster that November. Since then he had pre-dominantly been playing with Kaipi.
However he has struggled to hit the heights of his previous teams. Having said this, he sees this role as a coach as a new page in his book and it hopefully will bolster his reputation enough that he gets another crack at playing on the highest level.
