Bae “Bang” Jun is a professional eSports player from Korea. He is most famously and commonly known for his League of Legends endeavors and his career pretty much revolves mostly around that title.
Today, Bang is considered one of the leading LOL players. He currently is a member of the team SK Telecom T1 and is on the position of AD Carry

Bae “Bang” Jun Brief Team History
Bang joined his first professional team back in 2012. The team NaJin Shield accepted him open handedly. They identified his mad League of Legends skill and his overall knowledge of how the game functions in general.
He participated in a few tournaments with them. The overall results were not bad at all, he even made his first debut amongst their ranks.
However, the results weren’t as epic as expected so he was now in search of a completely new team. One thing came after another and our boy Bang managed to find himself a new team, this time Xenics Blast. However, due to bad tournament results, he left little after he joined up with XB.
Later on he joins the team. He is currently a part of now, the world renowned SK Telecom T1 K. He also immediately stepped in on the position of AD carry.
SK Telecom Career
After some problems within the SK ranks, SK Telecom T1 was forced to merge with its sister team. This sister team is SK Telecom T1 K. It proved to be an actually rather successful move and they carried on further from there.
The rest is pretty much history, and till this present day Bang remains within the ranks of SK Telecom. He represents their most perspective player as well as the “cash cow” of their organization.
It is theorized that Bang has the most rapidly rising carrier in the history of SK Telecom. He might stay there for very long periods of time to come. Be as it may, Bang is currently very big in the eyes of both corporate and individual investors alike. So, only time can tell on what will he be offered next. Most notable tournaments
The first tournament at which Bang made his ultimate debut was GIGABYTE StarsWAr League. Even though NaJin Shield didn’t manage to gain first place, it was still a tremendous success for Bang. They made it all the way to the semifinals.
Later on, team Najin Shield along with Bang participated in the OLYMPUS Champions Winter 2012-2013. They actually did not manage to make it past the group stage.
After he joined up within the ranks of Xenics Blast, they participated on the HOT6Ix Champions Summer 2013. Unfortunately, even then luck hasn’t smiled upon him. His team once again failed to make it past the group stage.
Joining SK Telecom T1
Joining the ranks of SK Telecom T1 K was the ultimate success story every eSports professional would like to have in his/her CV but in the long run. His first days there started with hardships, as the team didn’t manage to pass the group stage at the PANDORA.TV Champions Winter 2013-2014.
They managed to end on the semifinals of the HOT6Ix Champions Summer 2014. However they place 4th place on that tournament, which was relatively not bad for the still young career of Bang.
The first and utmost crucial tournament in the career of Bang happened on the SBENU Champions Spring 2015. They manage to end up fully victorious and respectively managed to make a mutually combined success that launched them even further.
They then attended the 2015 Mid-Season Invitation where they placed second to Edward Gaming. That was nonetheless seemed as a successful tournament experienced by the team.
SBENU Champions Summer 2015 started happening and SK Telecom T1 along with Bang were of course no strangers to it. They managed to win first place and continued on their steady path of success.
They eventually managed to take the whole championship which both directly and indirectly qualified them for the 2015 Season World Championship as the presenters of the whole of South Korea.
SK Telecom T1 Further Success
As SK started becoming pretty strong back then. It came as no surprise whatsoever that they actually managed to win the 2015 Season World Championship. They were above just only winning – but crushing all of their opponents.
What followed was the 2015 LoL KeSPA Cup, but they unfortunately lost in the semifinals, which brought complete mental chaos and devastation to their fans and betters alike.
In march of the same year IEM Katowice was happening and they managed to win after just seven games.
It goes without saying that the IEM Katowice participation brought them even more international success.
After joining the playoffs and winning they have managed to make a 3-championship win streak that left both them, the fans and the entire eSports community pretty much speechless.
MSI 2016 Win
What happened next was the 2016 Mid-Season Invitation, in which they joined up and were viewed upon as favorites. Even though it had its fair share of lost games and hardships, SK Telecom along with Bang managed to win even that championship.
2016 came with a complete “BANG” as Bang and his team managed to win the MSI 2016. They have been enlisted in the 2016 LKC Summer Split, but unfortunately did not manage to gain first place.
They did gain a very honorable achievement later on though, while participating in the 2016 LCK Summer Playoffs and managed to finish 3rd overall. This qualified them for the 2016 Season World Championship however, and the rest is pretty much history.
It is clear that Bang and his team meant business and that these results just go to show how elite and esteemed Bang and the rest of the SK Telecom roster actually are. We are waiting for more news on Bang and his team constantly. We bet that the future looks more than bright for the young team.
Bae “Bang” Jun’s net worth goes over $ 630,000,00, which make Bang the 4th highest payed eSportist in LoL. He is a two-time world champion and integral part of SK Telecom. He is most probably the most important player of the team as well.
That being said, he did not yet decide that he will leave the team. He remains firmly amongst their ranks to play as AD Carry.
An interesting fact to point out is that Bae Jun was an actual high-school drop-out. It is still unclear if he has even finished it till the present day.
