We are sad to inform you that popular and young eSports organization closed its doors recently. This young eSports organization has been present in the industry for less than two years, but it has gained a great popularity among worldwide eSports fans. Unfortunately, after two years of existence, the organization announced that it has decided to leave the scene. The organization posted on its website that it will cease all operations in eSports.
Allegiance Launched Back in 2015
The organization was introduced into the scene in October 2015 offering great potential to the industry. Allegiance’s general manager Connor Hall and the organization’s VP Trent Ross were very confident that they could somehow provide what eSports fans and eSports industry needs and they have been right. They at the helm of the organization were aiming to make Allegiance the world’s best across every game. In their official statement, they stated that they want to the best in regards to the overall competition that they will face. They wanted to provide only the best for players and fans worldwide. For almost two years they did exactly that, providing what best in the eSports world.
The organization’s first Hal line-up consisted of Ayden Suspectr Hill, Brett Naded Leonard, Carlos Cratos Ayala and Visal El ToWn were able to put Allegiance higher on the eSports map since they managed to second-place finish at major Halo World Championship that took place in March of 2016.
Allegiance’s Success
The team was greatly successful even though it went through several team roster changes. Although the team went through some major changes, that didn’t stop them from taking a hit. The team appeared in the 2017 Halo World Championship Last Chance Qualifier that took place in March of 2017. This was their final appearance and they didn’t qualify for the 2017 Halo WC since they were a fourth-placed in the LCQ. After this great setback, the team decided to withdraw from competitive Halo.
After Halo competition, the organization signed teams in Super Smash Bros, Gears of War, Smite, H1Z1 and many other titles. However, these latest acquisitions weren’t that much of help for the organization to keep them on the right track. It didn’t help the organization’s longevity as an organization. Something like that was highly anticipated but has never happened. Allegiance, in fact, isn’t able to compete with some other major organizations at the highest level due to organization’s current found. This was the main reason for Allegiance to depart from this gaming scene.
In his official statement, Allegiance’s announced that the organization is greatly thrilled to see what this industry has still to offer regardless of their recent departure. It should be noted that even though the organization closed its doors, it Call of Duty team will compete in the next week’s Call of Duty World League Championship according to the player for ALG Mehran Mayhem Anjomshoa. The prize pool for this major competition is $1.5 million and it is needless to say that it will attack million of CoD fans and players.
