2017 ELEAGUE CS: GO Premier: Cloud9 and G2 Esports Beginning the Playoff Stage

Are you ready for another amazingly exciting season of major ELEAGUE CS: GO Premier? Well, we sure are, so we bring you all the details you need to know regarding 2017 ELEAGUE Premier qualifications. It is the tournament series of major ELEAGUE competition that started on 8th of September and it will last until 13th of October. We definitely have witnessed some amazing Counter-Strike performances and actions. ELEAGUE Premier features amazing sixteen teams most definitely including the best world’s teams all fighting for that amazing prize pool of $1 million. The competition is held in renovated G-FUEL Arena located in Atlanta, Georgia. When it comes to the prize pool, it will be divided between leading teams. So, the first place team will get $500,000, second place $150,000, third and forth $70,000, fifth to eighth place $35,000 and ninth to sixteenth place will get $8,750. We have witnessed amazing matches and finally the championship bracket was finalized.

Group Stage Concluded

After a month pf amazingly intense Counter-Strike competition, the sixteen initially competing teams have been reduced to eight remaining teams that will continue their journey towards the title. Finally, group stage was concluded after a month, so the stage is finally set for that championship bracket. We are all looking forward to four-day playoff stage which will finally kick off on 10th of October.

It should be noted that quarterfinals will continue until 13th of October when we will witness the winner of ELEAGUE tournament being crowded, heading home with the title and with $500,000 in their pockets. In the competition’s group stage, there will be four groups including four teams competing in a familiar GSL-style format in order to earn their spot in major playoff bracket which will be held from 10th of October until 13th of October. It should be noted that every group will have their very own weekend for competition, so the competition will continue until each group reaches its conclusion.

G2 Esports and Cloud9 Kick Off the Playoff Stage

When it comes to the playoff stage, it will contain the best-of-three teams in a single-elimination format that consist of eight teams. The maps which will be played include Cobblestone, Nuke, Cache, Inferno, Train, Overpass, and Mirage. Teams will further trade maps until two final maps come as randomized. Used in most major tournament formats, best-of-three teams will follow those two usual bans, one leftover decider, and two picks. In the further competition, playoffs stage we will see teams G2 Esports and Cloud9 beginning their journey as a best-of-three on 10th of October in the quarterfinals at 2 pm ET. After their match teams, Fnatic and Astralis will face off that same day at 4:30 pm ET. The other half of the bracket will continue the following day with teams Faze Clan and Team EnVyUs facing off on 11th of October at 2 pm ET. The semifinal match will be determined in that match between Heroic and North later that same day at 4:30 pm ET.
